Description
The LeftField 3 Expert Kit for RED V-RAPTOR adds accessory mounting options and compatibility with ARRI-standard dovetails, as well as a 15mm LWS Baseplate. All components fit together seamlessly and can be used to mount accessories from a range of 1/4″, 3/8″, 15mm rod brackets and ARRI rosettes.
The LeftField 3 Expert Kit is compatible with DJI RS 3 and RS 4 gimbal systems and is made from lightweight anodized aluminum for wear and corrosion resistance.

The LeftField 3 Expert Kit is the best camera cage for RED V-RAPTOR shooters looking to reduce downtime. Attaching to any standard ARRI dovetail, the LeftField Baseplate uses the Open•UP quick-release system to seamlessly mount or dismount in moments. Each of the accessory plates - coming with a range of 1/4" and 3/8" screw thread mounting options - is made from anodized aluminum with Helicoil inserts, meaning that you can continuously use this V-RAPTOR kit without fear of wear-and-tear.

Open•UP with LeftField
At the core of the LeftField 3 Baseplate is the dovetail clamp, which uses the Open•UP for quick-release capabilities. This means that your camera is secured in place when you need it, but easily released when you don't with the flick of a clamp switch. The LeftField Baseplate can mount to any ARRI-standard dovetail, even those out of tolerance.
15mm LWS Compatibility
The LeftField Baseplate also adds the option to mount support rods in the 15mm LWS configuration; for the additional mounting of follow-focus motors, matte boxes and more. If you need to adjust the weight distribution of your rig, then this provides a great alternative to mounting directly to your camera or lens - preventing damage to either.
DJI Mounting
Sticking with the Baseplate, the seamless versatility of the dovetail is easily expanded on with the included riser and for DJI RS 3 or RS 4 gimbal systems. With these, you can easily dovetail directly to your gimbal. For varied shooting scenarios where you need to quickly change from gimbal to shoulder-mounted to tripod shots, the LeftField 3 Expert Kit helps keep things quick.
Designed for the RED V-RAPTOR
The LeftField 3 Expert Kit is purpose-built for RED V-RAPTOR compatibility, with accessories fitting discreetly to the camera body. The V-RAPTOR Side Plates sit on the side of the camera and provides 1/4" and 3/8" screw threads, along with ARRI-standard rosettes for mounting handgrips or other accessories. The Right Side Horseshoe pairs perfectly with the Side Plate, allowing you to further vary your V-RAPTOR without adding to the camera's compact footprint.
Accessorize with Ease
The rest of the LeftField 3 Expert Kit components are just as useful. The purpose-built RED V-RAPTOR Top Plate has a miniature dovetail of its own, meaning that you can slide or entirely remove the central element for quick accessory mounting. Likewise, the Sliding Top Handle allows you to adjust the individual positioning of your handle, and is fully compatible with the Master Handle Extension Set.

Made from anodized aluminum, each component is resistant to wear and corrosion; and the internals of the screw threads are fitted with stainless steel Helicoil inserts to prevent stripping or binding.
