Versatile BUD Platform
The Ātman Shoulder Rig uses the wider 88mm ARRI BUD standard, integrating smoothly with BUD-compatible bottom plates such as the B4003.1056 – Universal BUD Plate and B4004.1038 – BUD Bottom Plate for the Sony BURANO. Additionally, it is also compatible with ARRI ALEXA 35, MINI, and MINI LF camera models when paired with the BUD-1 and BUD-3 bottom plates.
By integrating BUD with your camera, you can easily switch between different setups like shoulder, gimbal, and handheld. Use the full range of BUD accessories to make these transitions in seconds.

The camera’s placement on the shoulder rig impacts the overall balance of the setup significantly. Using the ARRI BUD dovetail standard, Bright Tangerine provides a spacious 165mm of sliding capacity, enabling you to adjust and evenly distribute weight, reducing the strain on your back, neck & shoulders.
The balance can be fine-tuned with added precision using the sliding two-axis shoulder pad situated on the frame.
Utilise a single lever to adjust the pad not just in forward and backward directions, but also sideways. This feature allows you to fine-tune camera balance and distance from your head effectively.

The front of the handheld rig features a height adjustable 15mm rod clamp for supporting matte boxes, focus motors & lens supports.
An optional rear 15mm rod mount can be added with B6000.1024 – KASBAH Ātman Shoulder Rig Rear Rod Mount.
