Description

The Canon Z-Finder Recoil Pro V2 is a shoulder rig designed specifically for the Canon C300 Mark III and Canon C500 Mark II. This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a shoulder mount rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. The Recoil rig adjusts for that balance point and relocates focus, monitoring and camera controls forward, creating a lighter, shorter and properly balanced rig.

Includes

VCT Pro – this baseplate has a sliding top plate for quickly removing the camera from the rig or fast lens changes, a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with ¼” 20 and 3/8" 16 screw option). It has removable and extendable 6.5” iris rods and rows of ¼” 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. It has quick release 15mm rod parts in the rear. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens.

Rosette Trigger Grip - relocates the Canon Gr-V1 camera grip to a comfortable handgrip position for shoulder rigs. Zacuto's trigger grips are the most adjustable grips available. They allow for single-handed 360° rotation with the simple press of a trigger. It comes with the appropriate cable extension for the grip as well.

Top plate - The Top Plate has a built in Z-Rail perfect for adding the Zacuto Tactical Handle. Or if desired, you can reattach your Canon Handle to the plate. The Zacuto top handles give you the ability to quickly slide your handle back and forth to achieve perfect balance. The top plate has a multitude of ¼ 20 and ⅜ 16 screw holes for mounting various accessories. At the back of the plate is a 15mm rod port for a Zamerican arm or other 15mm accessory

Tactical Handle - With the turn of one ratcheting lever, this handle can be a top handle, left hand grip, or right hand grip-  use it where you need it for your shooting style. The slim design fits comfortably in your hand. Along the top is a Z-Rail (NATO rail), giving you multiple ¼ 20 screw holes for mounting accessories like an Atomos Recorder or small monitor with the Universal Monitor Mount. It also has a coldshoe mount and 15mm rod port for mounting the Axis Micro, EVF Mount.

Axis Micro - a simple EVF Mount. Designed to attach to the top of your camera set up, it leaves plenty of room at the lens for focusing and will work with the widest of lenses. The Axis Micro has extensive articulation for use with a variety of cameras, both shoulder mounted in a Recoil  configuration or in tripod operating position. It is very small and quick to install and remove.

Canon Z-Finder with Rosette Mount - The Canon C500 Mark II  & C300 Mark III Z-Finder is an optical viewfinder, specifically designed to attach to the Canon LM-V2 4.3" LCD Monitor compatible with the Canon C500 Mark II and Canon C300 Mark III.This Z-Finder will magnify the LCD screen by 1.8x and has a diopter wheel for specific focus tuning. If you need extra focal points you can use the included Z-Finder Extender Frames. These are semi-permanent stackable frames that attach to the body of the Z-Finder and extend the Z-Finder glass further away from the LCD screen for people who are farsighted. The diopter range with the included lens and extender frames is -2.5 to 0. If you need more adjustment than the Extender Frames provide, you can purchase drop in diopters for further diopter adjustment.
