Striking the perfect balance between strength and beauty, the DMG LION is a powerful, 13-inch, all-weather Fresnel that utilizes cutting-edge technology to replicate the look and feel of a classic Fresnel fixture – but with the versatility that LED technology provides. 

Easy-To-Swap LED Engines

The DMG LION features two LED engines* – a MIX® LED Engine and a PUNCH™ LED engine – that are designed to swap in and out of the fixture in a matter of seconds without any tools. This patent-pending, future-proof design also enables the DMG LION to be easily upgraded as LED technology advances by swapping in newly designed LED engines when they become available – without replacing the entire fixture.

MIX® LED Engine - Not Included - Sold Separately 

Utilizing the same patented, six-chip, MIX® Technology found in Rosco’s DMG Lighting soft lights, this LED engine is designed for full spectrum output to produce bright, vibrant colors, and enhanced skin tones at any color temperature.

PUNCH™ LED Engine - Not Included - Sold Separately 

This 2700K-6500K bi-color LED engine provides maximum intensity. Designed to produce the same output as a 5K tungsten Fresnel, the PUNCH LED engine also features green and magenta color correction for the beam.

13" Fresnel Lens

The fixture’s large 13-inch (33cm) Fresnel lens creates the classic ‘soft-edged spotlight’ beam expected from a larger Fresnel light. The light output from DMG LION is soft enough to create flattering light on talent, yet hard enough that it can produce crisp and dramatic shadows. The large Fresnel lens also improves the overall efficiency of the fixture and enables DMG LION to produce an extra-wide beam spread that is useful for lighting large spaces or for creating soft light with a defined beam shape.

70° Beam Angle

With a range of 14° - 70°, DMG LION features the widest beam angle of any LED Fresnel.

Local & Remote Control

The motorized LED engine is quiet on set, and is controllable via DMX, the myMIX® App, and the fixture’s onboard controls.

Outdoor-Rated

Featuring a self-contained, all-weather housing, DMG LION can be deployed anywhere it’s needed – from rainy or snowy locations to a dusty rig hung above a stage.

Repair – Don't Replace

DMG LION has been engineered to be fully repairable. Whether it’s replacing a broken lens or an individual chip in the LED Engine – virtually every component of DMG LION can be replaced, repaired, or updated.
