The GLINK is a professional gimbal operating system for those who look for the highest quality in stabilization and back support. With the greatest boom range on the market, the GLINK is able to reach an incredible height of 110cm and delivers the smoothest lateral panning across the body, giving the operator true freedom of movement.
INTRODUCING THE GLINK
The GLINK comes with a docking station that allows you to balance both your camera and gimbal in the system for effortless tilt motion and perfect balance.
The GLINK can support all professional gimbal payloads with a lift range between 6 – 24.9kg (13 – 55.0lbs). The GLINK stabilization arms can be tuned via the GLINK spring cores so that the arms float in a close to horizontal position.
The GLINK can accommodate most popular electronic gimbals, such as the Freefly systems and the DJI Ronin 2, which can all be mounted directly to the GLINK.
The GLINK can also support electronic heads such as the ARRI Trinity, Betz Wave, and MK-V Omega. It can also support fixed camera rigs in handheld mode with a separate telescopic handheld unit mount.
SPRING CORES
There are four different spring cores for the GLINK.
They each have a different weight range, and you choose which spring to use based on the weight of your camera package and gimbal.
- Orange: 6.0-11.0 KG – 13.0-24.0 LBS
- Black: 10.0-15.5 KG – 22.0-34.0 LBS
- Gray: 12.5-18.5 KG – 27.5-40.5 LBS
- Blue: 18.0-24.9 KG – 39.6-55.0 LBS
CUSTOM FIT
The retraction brackets (fore and aft gimbal positioning) section can be adjusted up and down along the xSPINE dovetail for lower or higher shots. The adjustable socket blocks on the retraction brackets can also be telescopically extended in width to adjust clearance from the sides of your body according to your body size.
The socket blocks can be adjusted around tilt to adjust fore and aft position, allowing the gimbal/camera to stay in a given position from the operator’s body.
