Looking for a little extra stability in your RED rig? The RED KOMODO-X Rear Top Plate not only lets you redistribute your camera gear, but also support what you already have. Bracing both your Side Plate and Top Handle, the Rear Top Plate is a great option for reliable rigging.
Built to last, the Rear Top Plate is a minor but mighty addition to your RED rig.
Easy Rigging
Want to balance your build? The Rear Top Plate lets you relocate components to the top of the KOMODO-X, making for better weight distribution – especially on bulkier rigs. The row of 1/4″ and 3/8” screw threads each have dedicated anti-twist locating threads, so your mounted gear stays locked in place.
Brace Yourself
If you’re still concerned about the rigidity of your RED rig, the Rear Top Plate helps you keep things braced. Support your Right Side Plate via the dedicated mount, and the Top Plate is also designed to work with the Extended Handle Brace – both the standard and RED Monitor Interface (RMI) variants.
Built to Last
The Rear Top Plate is made from Bright Tangerine's signature aerospace-grade aluminum: resistant to all the wear-and-tear or corrosion that even the most chaotic of call sheets can throw at it. Despite its strength, the Rear Top Plate is light enough to barely be noticed on your rig, whether it’s directly on your shoulder or balanced on a gimbal.
